I have a high school diploma, two bachelor's degrees, one master's degree and am a doctoral student. I am honorably discharged from military service and have raised two handicapped children. I have two children currently in college. Recently I became the happy parent of an Australian Shepard, who is keeping me busy/entertained, and besides dogs and cats.... I have a turtle Charlie.

I enjoy my garden(s) and am interested in many subjects that are too numerous to list right now. Basically, I am looking to provide a guiding hand for other students, and to help them reach their academic goals, and to see that learning can be an enjoyable lifelong experience.

I utilize PowerPoint presentations and notes, research papers, and any teaching method that helps my students "get it." The most important lesson I can teach someone how to think critically and problem solve. Good learning habits are also important Believe me, after writing weekly research papers for the doctoral level...I have had some "moments." You can make it through the obstacles too! It just takes practice and learning confidence!
