I am a seasoned Business and Economics teacher with a financial background from my years working in the City of London and in risk management consulting for one of the Big Four auditing firms across Europe. I am a seasoned Business and Economics teacher with a financial background from my years working in the City of London and in risk management consulting for one of the Big Four auditing firms across Europe. I hold a degree in Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury, where my passion for understanding decision-making processes in individuals and societies began. My career journey has included earning a Master’s in Banking and ICT while working for a bank in Milan, as well as becoming certified to teach English in Spain—a pursuit that started as a personal interest but ultimately deepened my dedication to education. Recently, I completed a Master’s degree in Education and Teaching Leadership from the University of Dundee, with a dissertation focused on best practices for teaching Financial Literacy Education in high schools, supervised by an esteemed economist and former Italian Minister of Labour.
As a proud alumna of one of the oldest UWC IB college, I deeply value international-mindedness and the transformative power of education. This experience continues to shape my approach as an IB educator, striving to cultivate independent, courageous thinkers who are prepared to innovate and thrive in an increasingly digital world.

I devoted my last 10 years teaching high school, children and adult students. Using instructional design and learning theories, I developed entire learning experiences, workshops, virtual classes, newsletters and magazines as blended solutions to enhance participants’ competencies and leadership skills. I created and converted teaching material into compellent content by using innovative layouts.
I’m proficient in virtual classrooms as I had the chance to have formal training as well as hands-on experience that helped me to facilitate the process of students’ learning. I’m also proficient with a variety of online learning management platforms that I use to design engaging and interactive lessons as I know how to leverage virtual methods to diversify instructional methods, including videos, quizzes and many e-learning apps specific for the class and useful for real-time learning assessment.
