Donna Rowberry

I had the privilege of being tutored by Donna for my A-level History exam retake in 2017. Her lessons were very structured and thorough and made great use of the time we had. Her knowledge and instruction stemming from her experience as a teacher was invaluable and she offered advice on everything from exam technique and timings to revision methods. She was always kind and patient and always friendly which made the sessions enjoyable and we were able to have a laugh together at times. She also often set tasks for me to complete at home and shared numerous invaluable sources to further my own knowledge and revision skills. Ultimately this helped me bring my grade from a C to an A in my retake and I went on to study History at university. The revision skills and approach to source analysis I picked up from her continued to help me throughout my undergraduate degree and beyond. Thanks again Donna - you certainly helped foster my love for history!

Donna taught me History a few years ago and she was one of the best teachers I have ever had. She was so supportive, patient and lovely and her teaching motivated me to pursue History at University level. One of my favourite teachers! Very warm hearted and intelligent. Donna teaches in a very positive and engaging manner, which helped me remember and understand topics well. I would definitely recommend.
