Depending on the reason for the study, lessons are personalised and bespoke. Teams is used as the teaching platform and I will generally teach no more than 2 people in a class, unless the circumstances are such that require me to teach more. This makes it easier to personalise the lessons and gives more of my time to each student.

I use a camera/document viewer if necessary in addition to the usual Teams whiteboard.

Students will be required to use certain texts for the classes and a full reading list will be provided where students will be with me for the entire year. Where possible, I will provide online texts for this purpose.

I can also teach functional skills 1 and 2 to ESOL learners or those who may not have achieved the required standard for GCSE/Nat 5 exams, to bring them up to the standard.

If a parent wishes their child to sit an exam in the subject and this is not covered by school i.e. home-schooled students, this is at the expense of the parents but I will provide support where necessary.
