I have taught and tutored essay writing at the college level at Rutgers University in NJ, USA for the past 19 years. I am comfortable using Zoom or any other online platform with a webcam. My goal is to help you write clearly worded essays. Although my experience is with college level students, I am quite comfortable working with people of all ages--as I am a mother and a grandmother. I have also helped international students (non-native speakers of English) improve their writing skills. I have a good sense of humor and I try to make all students feel comfortable with me. ( The only person I laugh at is myself!) I have also published two novels and I enjoy creative writing, as well.

My lessons are based upon what the student requires. I prefer it when the student brings something to work on such as the writing prompt and their own ideas for tackling the writing assignment--and then we can get to work. I have no agenda other than helping the student improve his or her writing skills. I have also helped students improve their Personal Statements that helped them get into graduate school.
