I teach English in a way that allows my students to talk and discover the language for themselves with my help and advice of course.

The study of phonetics for pronunciation and intonation is fundamental and I will teach you ways to listen carefully with attention to detail.

A lot of Reading: I use authentic resources to allow the practice of reading for vocabulary building and further discussion work.

Listening to podcasts and other resources as homework tasks to then report back to me whereby I will use questioning techniques to ascertain your understanding and further progression. I am looking at how you are able to respond in everyday situations. I will push you to make further progress in exam preparations and success.

Writing up summaries to then check for content language, grammar, and vocabulary. We will discuss the written assignment work for further progress. How to make presentations and use the language most appropriate to the circumstances.
