Dominic Ho

I believe that the path a person takes is heavily shaped by the edcuators met through one's life: A great teacher can spark new interests and inspire one to take their edcuation more seriously, while a middling teacher may kill all passion their student's had for a subject. As such, I've always aimed to replicate the teaching style of my best mentors, creating interactive and engaging lessons designed to help students truly understand, rather than just accepting bullet points as fact.

Aside from powerpoints, I will also bring in props if it enhances the learning experience. I will go through topics at the student's preferred pace instead of rushing through topics before the student truly grasp the subject.

Over the years, I have helped many of my peers come to understand topics in Computer Science. Many of whom still share this passion with me today. Aside from Computer Science, I've also volunteered at a school in to teach a class of 20 in solving rubix cubes.
