I run a social enterprise teaching English Literature and Creative Writing for literary organization, The Reader Berlin. I have taught for universities (Leicester and The University of Hong Kong) and the wider communitity for literature and writing organisations in the UK. These include The Word Factory Salon, Commonword, and Writing East Midlands.

I have 15 years of ad hoc teaching experience and have taught students from ages 7-74, both in an in-person and online capacity (largely during the pandemic), including short story and flash fiction courses. I am very proud of devising my own course,reading series entitled ‘New Fiction By Women & Non-Binary BIPOC: A Summer Reader Series’ during which I facilitated discussions on texts by authors of colour, focusing n issues of language, race, and canonicity.
