I have experience helping younger students academically as I have volunteered for a Paired Reading Programme during sixth form. I met up with a junior student once a week and read with them and asked them questions about the books we read to help improve their comprehension skills as well as their reading.
I achieved a B in my English A-level and currently study Law which involves a lot of English reading and writing.
I aim to video call with my students at leas once a week and teach English starting from the very basics, including but not limited to:
- greetings
- numbers/letters
- names of food
-names of objects
- how to describe things/places/people.
Starting off with the basics and working our way to practise conversations, in order to help the student navigate conversations in English more fluently.
I will also aim to arrange many "mock interviews" to help the student get used to answering (and asking) questions more easily and in order to help holding a conversation in English and become fluent in the language.
I can teach students at any level. So whether you do not know any English or know a little bit or English, feel free to reach out and I will be more than happy to tutor you!
I will tutor online as I live in Northern Ireland, but attend University at Swansea University, therefore easier to reach my students online. My tutoring sessions will be delivered on weekends, as well as evenings (weekdays).
