Hello! I'm Dionysios, a PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Manchester. For my PhD, I have developed some numerical models to increase the safety and reliability of aircraft gas turbine engines, when the aircrafts fly on dusty environments. Before my PhD I completed three master programmes. One MSc in Thermal Power and Fluid Engineering at the University of Manchester, one PGDip in Energy Systems at the University of Patras in Greece, and one MEng in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Patras. During my studies I have realized how important the maths, physics, science and programming are. These core subjects are implemented in all engineering, finance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biochemical industries etc. A student, who wants to have a career in any scientific and engineering industry, must have a good background of these subjects.

Maths and physics can be complicated sometimes and learning new concepts is difficult for everyone at the beginning. However, if somebody is willing and determined to learn, then he/she can realize how fascinating these scientific subjects are. I have significant teaching experience with school and university students. I prepare my lesson based on students' needs, I identify their knowledge gaps and try to resolve them. My plan is to increase the motivation of students and help them progressing. I can help students with their daily assignments and also prepare them for exams to achieve high grades.
