I have taught English in Japan and Korea for the past 17 years. I worked at kindergartens, cram schools, primary and junior high schools. This experience gives me a huge advantage as I have already taught thousands of children and young adults. I can now tailor this vast experience into an online teaching role helping potential students to enjoy their time studying.
I am very confident I can help any student as I understand the challenges in learning another language as I have studied Japanese for a long time.
With practice, games and strategies we can build a curriculum that is challenging and rewarding.
My main job is know my students well. I can do this due to my many years of teaching to large groups of kids giving me the ability to befriend and get to know individuals very quickly.
This enables me to teach to a students exact level and tailor each lesson to further their skills whilst maintaining already taught vocabulary/sounds/alphabet etc.
For young learners I have a great phonics and literacy course that really helps students into the future by providing a solid reference base. Literacy is the goal and phonics combined with writing achieves this.
Finally, I have many hobbies like painting, reading and exercise that are interesting and challenging. These hobbies and having traveled to many countries gives me a wide range of experience to draw upon and thus enriches the time spent with adults and children alike.
