I am a 21-year-old law graduate from the University of Oxford who believes that whilst academics are not everything in life, it sure is great to be great at it!

I have always had an enthusiasm for teaching. I taught karate from when I was 13 and have had various stints tutoring family friends on an informal basis. At university, I became a volunteer mentor for the university application process, specifically for law. I did all this because I thoroughly enjoy helping a person realise their potential in any capacity and to see them, through the work we do together, increase in their self-confidence. From this experience, I've learnt that a good working relationship and the ability to keep things fun and entertaining is as important to the success of a tutoring lesson as anything else and so I endeavour to do that every time I tutor.

I have a perfect academic record, achieving all 9s at GCSE and all A stars at A-level. This reflects how I am capable in all academic areas - not just those relating to my university degree - and reveals my deeper understanding of and skill in exam technique and how to excel within any exan examination syllabus. This, combined with my communication skills that I have developed studying law and from my teaching experience, will ensure that my tutees will similarly excel in any subject they choose to have me tutor them in.
