Diany Lopez

I’m Diany Lopez, originally from Costa Rica, and I began my musical journey with the violin and fiddle at the age of 7. I hold degrees in both Violin Performance and Psychology, and I’m fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, with Italian as my newest language adventure.

As a full-time tutor with over 25 years of violin experience and more than 15 years of teaching, I’m also well-versed in performing live, composing original music, and recording professionally. My passion for music inspired me to establish a music school with a simple but powerful purpose: to create a space where students don’t just learn music—they fall in love with it. I truly believe in music’s transformative power, and I strive to share that experience with each of my students. My school is a vibrant, encouraging place where students of all ages can grow, enjoy, and find real motivation in their musical journey.

I love teaching music to everyone, regardless of age or the type of music they enjoy. I can teach both beginners and those who have been playing for a long time. My students achieve great success in music competitions and exams, and they sound fantastic in concerts as well.

In our violin lessons, we start by practicing the basics, like scales. Then, we move on to different books suited to your skill level. I’ll teach you special techniques, such as the Tune Day Method, to help you improve. But most importantly, I want you to enjoy what you play, so I’ll let you choose songs that you like.

I hold diplomas that qualify me to teach, and I am dedicated to helping you learn music. Let’s begin this musical journey together, where we’ll have fun while mastering the violin.
