I taught high school students before for few months as part of charity work and subjects were Science, Math and English. My approach is a dynamic interaction between tutor and students making the course interesting and lively. Since I don't have proper teaching experience, I prefer to teach basic knowledge on English and Science to kids, make these subjects interesting by not forcing the principle but making students realize how it goes, how it is applied, how it is relevant to their lives and current situation. I also plan to give home works which may require parents' involvement to make the learning not just online but at home with regards to continuous learning and support. Learning should be fun and not boring. It's important for me that my students learn because they understand and not because they are forcing themselves to learn and love the subject. With this, the idea of introducing games, fun quizzes, awarding for winners, in my opinion, can help the discussion and classes lively. It will also promote engagement of students. At the end of the whole session, the goal is for the students to be able to understand the subject and have a good grasp such that when they go to level-up class, they will not be daunted but interested and perform well being able to be equipped with the knowledge from the online tutoring. Somehow, even online tutors, they leave a mark on students with not only the learnings they impart but also the experience of having fun and happy learning.
