I hold a Literature degree with expertise in Portuguese and Spanish from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, along with a specialization in Psychopedagogy from the Faculty of Human Sciences of Olinda. I am proficient in Spanish and English, the latter backed by FCE certification.
I possess knowledge of platforms and teaching methods necessary for the role. I supported teachers and studants during the pandemic by assisting them on various platforms and actively sought to learn about Google's services, including Classroom and digital methodologies.
In my classes, I like to identify what students' needs are to learn Portuguese: work, study, knowledge, travel, understanding an artist's songs... In order to put together a personalized study plan that achieves each person's personal goal.
I understand that each person has their own way of learning, so I try to bring different teaching methods to classes so that learning is not monotonous or too repetitive, especially since these are remote classes that can cause fatigue after 20 minutes.
I aspire to be considered for portuguese teacher, with a focus on encouraging students to learn through innovative and diverse methods, incorporating games to facilitate learning. I consistently strive to connect with their everyday experiences and introduce alternative cultural perspectives.
Finaly, have prior experience residing overseas, having spent 7 months in Ireland to enhance my English skills. While I am currently based in Brazil, I am open to engaging in remote activities across different time zones.
