Hi all… I’m Dhruv and thanks for considering me as your tutor. I have been in this field for just over 2 years now and have always pushed my students to their full potential. Just a little overview of what a conventional session would look like with me is that I would start off by getting to know you a little bit better and making you feel as comfortable as possible. I will then ask you if there is a topic/unit in maths you would like to work on. If not, I will usually let you complete a somewhat baseline assessment so I can find out where your strengths and weaknesses are. This will help the both of us as we then know where we can work on. I will usually use my laptop and a notepad when it comes to tutoring and explain how to work questions out using both my laptop and notebook. After you are comfortable with the basics, I will then show you some exam-style questions and we can slowly work through them at an even pace until you have fully understood that topic which we can then move on to some more exam-style times questions. After every couple of sessions, I will get you to complete an end of unit test to see how much progress we made and if there are any gaps of knowledge we can work on to fill. I personally did the exam board AQA during GCSEs however I can cater for a few more exam boards.
