For IGCSE or GCSE student, I will be using past year papers, along with slides, graphs essentially I will attempt to make it a highly visual experience, so that the student will be able to pay attention. Practice is key of course, so they will be working with alot of Past year questions along with certainty ype of questions that will be individually tailored towards their strength and weaknesses to help them refine and grow their skills.
My lessons will be straight to the point and efficient, it will more than often be a two hour class where we first learn about the chapter and then tackle it by solving questions. The learning section will not be merely taking down notes, or me simply talking, however, I will ensure that it's an active conversation that way the student is aware of the topic and will feel more encouraged to ask questions. I will be using videos and slides to make everything more interesting and I will most definitely will give the student breaks in between.
It may sound extreme, however, it should be noted that this is not going to be some tiresome fiery battle or some boring old random conversation. Rather it's a neutral yet engaging method of being able to intake large chunks of information in a palatable manner without burning out.
In regards to the practice, as previously mentioned it will be a mix of past year papers along with questions tailored to the student weaknesses to ensure they are able to refine that area.
