I want every one of my students to gain confidence as they discover their true potential to write well. The sessions will revolve around the student's specific weaknesses, and will be highly tailored to best target their concerns. The plan for the student's progression will vary depending on their goals and preferences.

Exam Based Tutoring up to A-Level
- Using the specified exam board and chosen texts, we will go over what is needed to obtain a high mark.
- We will review previous written work and assess specifically what needs developing.
- By incorporating fun writing activities and exercises, we will tackle the weaknesses in a way that sticks with the student, allowing them to overcome obstacles in their writing. We will also create a bank of key terminology and themes for ease of revision using my templates.


General Writing Style Help for Higher Education
- We will review and discuss previous university essays and comments given, and analyse specific flaws holding the student back (such as structural errors). We will also work on finding the student's own writing style and voice, which is integral for first class essays.
- If needed, help on how to organise research and planning for essays can be given, by going through different methods and finding what works best for the student.
