I offer one to one online tuition to Key stage 1-5. Ideal if you're preparing for mocks, assessments, or just need a boost before next year!* I have been teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE English language and literature (AQA), including resit, and A level English literature (AQA) for eight years. I am an enthusiastic, committed and patient teacher who has enjoyed lots of success with my students. In my last GCSE group. I can promise you engaging and highly personalised lessons, which are focussed on identifying then working on your areas for improvement, but also on celebrating your successes. I am someone who takes the time to get to know my students well, so I can use a range of strategies to tailor each lesson to best suit you and maximise your chances of success. I also endeavour to help you understand the importance of these subjects, and help you find the joy in them.My teaching style is friendly and approachable. I am very calm and patient and like to make my lessons fun and engaging! Over the years, I have tutored an enormous range of students to exam success - or just to feel more confident in the subjects they are struggling in. I frequently use the pause method in my lessons, this is where I pause my lesson after about 15 minutes of speaking so that students can get their minds around everything already said. I would normally ask them to summarise something I have explained or how to find a solution to a certain problem that I presented and find out if they have any questions.
