Through the use of online platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Skype, I share my screen with my students with a whiteboard to go through calculations and concepts. I also share questions from past papers that we go through together, and for the students to try independently. I take a very student tailored approach, in which the student is asked about what they would like to cover based on their strengths and areas of improvement. I have found that a mixture of content and questions is the most effective in Maths and Physics. It is important to grasp the concept, and once understood, to have sufficient, repeated practice to make these ideas ingrained. Students are constantly requested for feedback, so that I am aware of what to modify and continue, to deliver the best experience for students. Depending on the student, I set homework for further practice.
