Devan Storey

In 2019, I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 2:1 in Hispanic Studies. During my academic journey, I developed a deep appreciation for the Spanish language and the rich cultures it encompasses. I have lived in Valencia for a year, and had two exchanges in Alicante and Bilbao. This experience not only equipped me with a solid understanding of the language but also fostered a genuine enthusiasm for sharing my knowledge with others.

Although I currently work in a different field, my passion for Spanish has never waned. I am committed to continuing my own personal development and sharing my expertise with others as a part-time online Spanish tutor. Teaching has always been a strong passion of mine, and I have experience working with individuals of various ages and backgrounds as well as joining tandem language groups. I am excited about the opportunity to inspire and guide others on their journey to becoming proficient Spanish speakers.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, with a focus on creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. I understand that each learner is unique, and I tailor my teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs. Whether it's helping students with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversational skills, I am dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing learning experience.
