As a private tutor teaching English language, there are several formats, methods and dynamics that I have and can employ while tutoring, after an assessment of the student's level of proficiency has been ascertained, some of them include:

One-on-One Tutoring: which involves working with one student at a time, allowing the tutor to give the student their full attention and focus on their specific needs and weaknesses.

Group Tutoring which mostly involves teaching a group of students at the same time. It can be beneficial because it encourages group participation and interaction, which can help foster a learning community and with technology advancement, online tutoring is also now possible, and as a tutor I can offer a one-on-one or group tutoring online. This option provides flexibility, and it allows the tutor to teach from anywhere in the world as long as they have access to a computer and internet.

Experiential Learning which includes learning by doing. Engaging the student in practical activities, encourage conversation, role-playing, and games, which helps them associate learning with fun.

The Communicative method focuses on language used in real-life situations. The tutor teaches using conversation and encourages students to communicate back in English. This method is ideal for students who want to be able to speak and understand English in their day to day life.

However, these methods and dynamics mentioned are subject to ascertaining the level of proficiency exhibited by the student so as to select what method would be best for the student and the tutor while transmitting lessons.
