Denisa in a nutshell

While I am only a University student myself, I have experience from tutoring during my sixth-form years, and attending tutoring lessons myself when I was younger! I am a friendly and easy-going person, which is definitely an attractive quality for a tutor. Some may prefer a "tough-love" approach when being mentored, however I find a supportive and constructive approach more successful when it comes to learning.
I'm happy to cater my services to your needs, whether you excel better when completing worksheets, seeing visual representations, doing quizzes or just conversating about the topic until you understand and learn it. I studied in depth social sciences such as Sociology and Psychology, and I also did English Language / Literature and Geography for A Levels. If I had to say what my favourite subject is, it would be Geography or Psychology! My high performance in my A Levels allowed me to get accepted by a prestige University.
Regarding my preferred teaching style, I find that most people prefer being taught the information, being shown real life examples and then putting their learning to the test with a quiz. My favourite revision techniques are mind-maps (also known as spider maps) and watching explanatory videos!
