Currently I am an undergraduate student at Imperial College London studying Civil Engineering. I have achieved very high grades in maths and the three sciences (all grade 9) at GCSE and also achieved AAA at A level for Mathematics, chemistry and physics. In my opinion the best teacher is the one truly interested in what they are teaching. I have experience in most exam boards and have a full knowledge of the gcse and A-level maths course. I also have experience in teaching a gcse student and helped them achieve very good grades. Further more, I am also studied a level Spanish and have amazing comprehensive, speaking and writing skills in the language. The exam board I know very well is Edexcel. The structure of my lessons is very simple:
First I teach/explain or add on to any missing knowledge to make sure the basics are covered.
Then I apply this knowledge by testing my students with exams and practise questions.
Then to maintain this knowledge and skills I give homework which I expect to be completed each week.
I believe my methods to teaching are the best and fastest way to succeed in your GCSE’s and A levels, although I do also expect a professional and respectful attitude towards learning.
