I believe that in my lessons I am able to adapt and work with individual learners - being more of an audiovisual learner myself I understand how much of a difference it can be to see something explained in a new way. Having a wide range of experience areas from my A-Levels to my current interests, I am able to assist with not just Maths as advertised but also Biology, Chemistry (relating to my current degree, Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry), as well as Music Theory and Art, but can work on a deep level within these whether you are looking for help at a primary level, GCSE, or A-Level - I am happy to focus on whatever is needed.
My teaching experience ranges from private tutoring multiple students for over six months, as well as having a TEFL/TESOL qualification from teaching English full-time for seven weeks over the summer as a placement abroad, leading classes solo and teaching over 300 students. I also currently help run a peer-mentoring system within my degree course, in which I lead classes for the lower years. Similarly to this, my outlook on tutoring is that this one-on-one, personalised and focused support is not only extremely beneficial to the individual learner but also for myself personally, with confidence and experience to recap the knowledge.
Additionally, being neurodivergent myself and having worked many times with neurodivergent students, I have experience with working with this and I understand how this can affect learning, for example, enabling a student with ADHD to better focus on a single subject with set-aside tutoring time in the learning style that works best for them to excel.
As always, feel free to message me if there are any additional questions about anything or restrictions to work around, and I am more than happy to answer! I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully being of assistance.
