Hello, my name is Delany! I'm an Educational Psychologist and I work as a Teacher, I have been interested in working with children since a young age that's why I mainly teach to Preschool and to Elementary grades. Teaching is my passion and I love to be able to share my knowledge with my students. I believe that everyone can learn through movements and entertaining activities, practice what your learn will give you successful results. It's my best interest that my students can learn in the best possible way at their own pace. I will be always open to answer any question or inquire that you may have. I would love to see you in class and start the journey of learning together.
My teaching is based in interactive, fun and entertaining activities that also include games, puzzles and super creative projects. You will be able to learn grammar and vocabulary to use daily. A typical lesson plan must include the objectives of the day, review from the last lesson, answering any inquire that the student may have, watch 2 or 3 videos, showing a picture and ask question about it, reading and comprehension, learn sight words and vocabulary to form sentences, creative corner to create a projects, fun games, active corner to learn by movements and puzzles, plus online games. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I based in the Theory of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner as I discover what is the best way that a student can learn. My lessons are mainly for children between 3 - 10 years old and teens that English is their second language.
