I think in order for content to be learnt effectively, I believe that lessons need to be engaging and interactive. I'm easy to get along with, pretty laid back, and think learning shouldn't be a chore. I understand different students need different approaches, and I'm more than willing to adapt for what you think is best.

I have experience mostly in Primary schools, but have also worked in a Nursery and tutored secondary school children for over a year now. I'm familiar with the requirements for different age groups, and how best to work with students to achieve their goals. I like to make lessons interactive, make sheets where you can apply and develop knowledge, and go through questions that might be causing struggles. I'm confident that my methods are clear and easy to follow, and focus on scaffolding learning instead of all at once.

I'm in my second year of working for my BA in Primary Education and Early Years, and educating children is genuinely something I'm passionate about.

As someone who had some difficulty in school, I believe there is no such thing as a child who's not 'academic', and that learning should be completely accessible for all through personal and tailored approaches, which I'm confident I can provide.
