As an experienced primary teacher of twenty seven years, I have the knowledge and skills to teach all aspects of English (reading, writing and speaking and listening ) to young learners. I do believe that although my experience has been in the primary sector, my teaching skills are transferable and will be equally suited to teaching English as a foreign language. My lessons do not follow a set format, as I plan them according to your starting point, needs, interests and preferred learning style. Initially, I would hope to discuss your goals with you and then I would plan a series of structured and targeted lessons, incorporating recap of past learning, new learning, consolidation and next steps. I would hope to make your goals challenging but realistic and we would revisit them, together, at regular intervals, to make sure we are on track and that we are happy with your progress. All I would expect from you is that you commit to your learning and try your best.
