I am an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys seeing my pupils/clients achieve.
I have 17 years teaching experience working within schools and colleges, as a qualified teacher.
Additionally I have 20 years experience of working within Health Care, inclusive of both professional and hands on experience which links nicely to the exam board specification. This I feel is a valuable assets in supporting context understanding and application of theory to practice.
I have worked for Pearson in the moderation process, so have up to date skills in what the exam boards expect in coursework and exam questions.
My lessons are built around the individual needs of each client/pupil, taking into account their specific learning styles to support positive learning and understanding.
I use a range of teaching tools from verbal explanations, video's, PowerPoints and worksheet activities to support learning and knowledge development.
I incorporate various assessment tools to check understanding and practice ready for upcoming assessments and tests.
I am happy to provide the teaching and support at a pace to meet personal and individual needs.
