Lessons are organized around themes that interest the child. They are kept short to accommodate the attention spans of preschool learners and learners with autism.

Each class begins with a familiar song or rhyme to engage the learner and prepare the learner for learning. The lesson is then introduced using a colourful visual aid while being mindful of colours that may trigger sensory overload.

The lesson can be presented through various methods, including Storytelling related to the target theme, games like matching sounds to pictures, or activities like Show and Tell. The learner might also be instructed to point out objects in their environment that relate to the theme, such as colours, letters, or animals. Additionally, Songs and Chants can be used to reinforce learning, along with Action Rhymes.

Assessment of the concept learned can take place, for example, by instructing the child to click on all the blue stickers along with me.

The lesson concludes with a soothing song or rhyme, such as "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star."

Positive reinforcement is employed, providing rewards such as stickers or the opportunity for the child to choose a topic of interest for the next lesson, along with praise for completing tasks well and exhibiting good behaviour in class.

Interaction is encouraged during lessons to promote the social skills of the learner.
Additionally, adaptations are made to meet the learner's specific needs.
