At French With Debora (FWD), our teaching/learning method:
is adapted to each person according to their level (beginner, intermediate or advanced).
is structured and progressive, going from simple to complex to facilitate understanding,

Francophone by origin, I have a Bachelor's in Sociology, Licentiate in English Literature and Linguistics Studies in Benin, a French-speaking, and a MicroMaster in Social Work in the US.
Professional Educator with 10+ years of experience in teaching and tutoring French and English in francophone countries, and in the US, I have good experience in multicultural and international environments, in a classroom environment, as well as online, with large or small groups, or on a one-on-one.
I am currently a French teacher at DCI school, Washington DC, and at the International Language Institute. I am familiar with middle and high school, and adult teaching.
Having learned English and Spanish as a second and third language, I understand firsthand the challenge of trying to learn a second language. I am the best tutor who can help you start and live your French learning journey with confidence and achieve your goal.

At French With Debora (FWD), you will gradually learn vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, etc., everything you need to feel comfortable speaking French in your specific or any environment.

The lessons are prepared and presented in Google Slides, in an interactive dynamic between teacher and learners on the one hand and between learners on the other.
At FWD, we use comprehensible input material (music, movies, songs, cartoons, game, etc.) to engage, challenge and help our students develop their French language skills.

Trial lesson
French With Debora offers prospective students the opportunity to try the teaching method and materials in the first lesson (at the normal price) before committing to regular sessions.

Placement of new students
I assess each new student's level and design personalized course content.

Individual and/or small group lessons
You can choose between individual instruction or small groups of up to 4 people. Our group lessons are interactive and engaging and give each student optimal individual speaking time. I make sure everyone gets personal attention.
