I have discussed and helped edit personal statements with sixth form students applying to university. I tutor UCAT skills and understanding, by doing questions with students and going over questions. I also carry out mock interview sessions over Zoom to support students and guide them in their preparation. Having spoken to several medical students and admissions teams, I have a strong understanding of what universities look for in candidates and how to stand out in a sea of applicants. My lessons are structured around what students specifically need and I adapt each lesson to strengths and weaknesses of my students. Moreover, I aim to be optimistic, nurturing and patient with all my students and make sure I create a comfortable environment in our lessons for them to learn.
