Teaching methods include, aims and objectives at the start of the lesson, to ensure children know what they’ll be right about, basic components and content explained, through a PowerPoint presentation along with questions along the PowerPoint to test their knowledge and understanding and then active recall through more open ended questions and quizzes to ensure efficient learning through fun and interactive ways to keep the children engaged. My previous lessons were altered to each child individually based on their learning style and their engagement which ensured every student was able to engage with the lessons properly. Content would include the specification of their exam board and learning required of them for their age group to ensure nothing is missed out. Based on the childrens answers and the areas they are struggling in these will be re- explained again in a different way possibly to ensure they have a great understanding of the topic, with homework given to them to ensure that they are continually practicing the areas they may particularly be struggling in. Through interactive games, children are more likely to learn and ensuring the same material is taught in many ways as a means of active recall.
