My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student's needs, helping them build a solid understanding and confidence in maths. Each session begins with a brief review of previous material to reinforce learning and ensure continuity. I then introduce new concepts through clear, step-by-step explanations, followed by guided practice exercises that allow students to apply what they've learned.

I have experience working with students preparing for the 11 Plus exam as well as those up to Key Stage 3. My goal is to make challenging topics approachable by breaking them down into manageable steps, using examples that resonate with students. I believe in a positive and encouraging approach, where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

To keep lessons engaging, I incorporate a mix of problem-solving, visual aids, and real-life applications of maths. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s progress, focusing on areas that need the most support. By the end of each lesson, I provide a recap and assign practice work or suggest activities to deepen understanding. My aim is to create a supportive environment where students can thrive and achieve their personal best.
