I deliver my lessons online, generally using Zoom or MS Teams. I use whiteboard software and a library of prepared materials which I annotate during the lesson. At the end of the lesson I send a PDF file to the student with all the notes and annotations used. I place great emphasis on working through typical examination questions with my students so that they gain familiarity with the style of questions and are helped to spot the usual areas of misunderstanding.
I expect students to enjoy my lessons and to fond them challenging. Almost all go on to study Physics or an engineering subject at A Level.
Here is a testimonial from one of my students;
Just in case L___ has not messaged you yet, she got A* in Physics, Maths and French and B in further maths. She is off to UCL to study physics. She is thinking of switching to theoretical physics. M___ will start an MA in computer science at the University of Sheffield in September.
Once again, thank you so much for all your help and support.
