I am an experienced tutor currently using developed PowerPoint material among other delivery mechanisms, but can use any sourced material or can develop some new material if required.

I can be quite informal, with a dynamic input, yet I expect some feedback from students to work with the material and help me develop their understanding. It is a two-way process.

I have a degrees in Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering and PhD in Bioaerosol Science. I have worked for the last 2 years at Glasgow International College teaching chemistry and other science subjects. I have a current PVG. I have previously taught at University level, as well as in a primary school, though that was in cycling proficiency.

I believe I can develop students through helping them understand their subject material, I am especially good at assignments, projects and helping with exams and assessments. I have in my time taken countless exams, and have my revision technique well rehearsed and developed. Similarly I have worked through many different project assignments, assessments and projects, both for myself in teams and as a tutor, thus I think I can help any potential student with this type of work.

I have strong background in R&D and have mentored many different employees and students throughout my career. I have worked for Dyson, the Forensic Science Service, and have worked in Microbiology, Aerosol Science, Product Design & Development, Air Pollution, Filtration, Brewing, Dairy and Yoghurt making, Food Science and Technology, Immunology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry.

I can teach Chemistry to advanced higher level, and a number of other science subjects (including biology and biochemistry), some to higher degree level if specific enough. Especially projects and searching for & developing reference material.
