As an experienced tutor, my teaching approach is student-centric, focusing on individual learning styles and needs. I believe in fostering an interactive environment, encouraging students to engage actively, ask questions, and express their thoughts. This approach cultivates a deeper understanding and confidence in tackling complex problems.
Each lesson begins with an assessment of the student's understanding of the topic, followed by a gradual introduction of new concepts. This process ensures a solid grasp of each concept before progressing to the next. Importantly, lessons aren't simply lectures; they're dialogues that facilitate active learning and critical thinking.
I bring a strong academic background in Physics, with high scores in AP Physics 1, Physics C, Calculus AB, and Calculus BC, and a 35 on the ACT. This expertise allows me to distill complex concepts into understandable content, making learning more enjoyable for students.
Beyond teaching, I aim to inspire a genuine interest in Physics. I incorporate real-world examples and practical applications into my lessons, making the subject more tangible and exciting. This method showcases how Physics shapes our world, enhancing students' appreciation of the subject.
As a bilingual tutor, proficient in English and Chinese Mandarin, I can cater to a diverse student population, addressing their specific needs effectively.
Teaching for me is about sparking curiosity and helping students reach their potential. Together, we can transform the challenges of learning Physics into an exciting journey of discovery. I look forward to this opportunity.
