My lessons are learner centred. Placing the student from and central in the learning process. They are interactive and require the student to actively participate in tasks and activities (in both group and 1 to 1 scenarios) as well as take part and invest in discussion a Q & A sessions.

I have worked extensively as both a teacher and lecturer in English for over a decade. Working in various sectors within education from secondary school to college. Teaching children, teenagers and adults of all backgrounds and abilities. Preparing students for academic examinations and for work and life skills opportunities teaching English as both a native and forge in language.

I begin with a diagnostic assessment of your current level and then use that to formulate an individual learning plan designed to cater to the specific needs and requirements of each student.

Progress is assessed continuously throughout the duration of the course in order to consolidate learning and close and gaps that may become apparent in the student’s knowledge and understanding.

Finally, revision of all course content and concepts is undertaken along with a final formative assessment and preparation for any official external examinations.
