Hello, I'm David. I a masters graduate with an MSc in Human Anatomy and Evolution from The University of York, and a BSc in Zoology (2:1) from The University of Nottingham. I have 3 years of online tutoring experience through the National Tutoring Program (NTP) and private tuition, and have delivered almost 1000 hours of online lessons to pupils aged 11-18. I specialise in Science, tutoring Biology (up to and including A Level) and General Science (up to and including GCSE). I also have extensive experience tutoring English up to and including GCSE. I use online whiteboards to deliver my lessons, where I teach using a combination of diagrams, text, bullet points and videos. I am to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible, encouraging students to ask questions and be inquisitive. I use BitPaper to deliver my lessons. I send a quick email to pupils prior to lessons where they can instantly access the interactive lesson space-no sign up is required, pupils simply need to follow a link in their browser and they are good to go! I am able to adapt my content to pupils individual learning requirements and have lots of experience of working with SEN pupils. I use practice exam questions during my lessons to assess knowledge of topics. I'm able to set homework if desired, and offer feedback on pupils work. I aim to inspire the same passion I have for my subject in my pupils, whilst helping them hit and exceed their targets.
