I provide lessons for all from secondary school students through to undergraduate students, and adults who just want to learn more about politics and philosophy! I hold a first-class honours degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and I am going onto graduate study in International Relations. I specialise in IR, ethics and morality, systems of government, and social and public policy.

I am able to offer specialised teaching for GCSE and A-Level students for their particular exam board and specification. I will work with you to fill in gaps in your knowledge and understanding, or to help you better understand certain topics that you’ve been struggling with. We will also discuss, where relevant, real-world events and issues to take your understanding of the subject to the next level, and I will often pose out-of-syllabus questions or issues to get you thinking broadly about the subject. This will improve your ability to impress the examiners, and help to prepare you for further study!

I work with undergraduate students to tailor my teaching as much as possible to their course requirements. I provide teaching as much as possible in a ‘tutorial’ style, with back-and-forth discussion on the topic in question. This gives you the Oxbridge experience even if you’re at another university, and will help you to improve your critical thinking skills!

I also offer, either as part of this teaching or separately, intensive lessons on writing and other crucial study skills. I will guide you through how to construct an argument clearly and convincingly, and how to do this in as few words as possible to meet word limits and time constraints in exams.

Please don’t hesitate to get in contact if you are interested or just want to know a bit more!
