Welcome! My name is David and I am more than happy to provide you assistance with tutoring in chemistry, from high school freshman to university admission level. Here you can read a little bit about how we are going to work together.
The first lesson is about getting to know each other. I would like to ensure that you feel comfortable in the tutoring situation. After that, we identify together the goals and set up a plan how to achieve it. Importantly, you are more than welcome to discuss which topics you find easier/harder and then we spend less/more time on it.
Topics that need more attention, will be approached by identifying difficulties, discussing theory and solving exercises together, as well as in form of homework checks. Topics that are deemed to be easier, will be tackled mainly by homework exercises.
For exam preparation, I will provide mock exams that I suggest to complete under circumstances (e.g. time constraints) similar to the real exam situation. At least 3-4 mock exam sessions will be provided to ensure success and identifying which aspects to focus on, including time and stress management.
If you are more invested in a topic, I encourage you to do a small research related to the subject which we can discuss together.
If you are interested in university application, I can provide assistance with writing personal statements and with mock interviews.
