David Ko

I am a qualified teacher with QTS, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics. For the past 15 years, I have taught Math and Science, helping many students build their confidence and achieve significant academic progress.

My approach to teaching centers on understanding each student's thought process. I encourage them to share their reasoning so I can identify any learning challenges and tailor my guidance accordingly. I lead them through problem-solving steps, empowering them to find solutions on their own and building their confidence along the way.

I also draw on my own learning techniques and experiences in math to help students organize knowledge into a cohesive understanding. I teach them to recognize key clues within questions and guide themselves through the first steps of problem-solving, creating a solid foundation for independent learning.
