David is a highly experienced performer and manager having worked for over thirty years in many different countries as a musician and artistic director. With a portfolio career, David leads a forty-six piece wind band, conducts and plays as a freelance musician, and also lectures in Strategic Management, Music, and History at The Open University. He holds Fellowships of the main British music conservatoires, several degrees in music, a masters in music technology, an MBA, and PhD in historical musicology. He is known for his innovative and creative approach and his ability to think strategically while still focusing on the reality of delivery.
