I like to teach in a very calm and conversational way. I want to discuss students' interests and from there analyse what areas of their English skills need to be improved. I then guide our discussion and activities towards how we can improve these areas. I don't like my lessons to feel to rigid or formal. I want it to feel like a fun conversation but always with knowledgeable guidance behind it. I think the key to learning something and remembering it is feeling relaxed and happy while doing so. This cultivates consistency and an open mind. Practice makes perfect. No one wants to do something they hate.
I have an undergraduate degree in English with Creative Writing (2:1)and a master's degree in Creative Writing (Distinction). I also have a CELTA (Pass Grade B), a 160-hour TEFL certificate, a TEYL, and a NCFE in TEFL.
I hope this all sounds good to you and you want to work with me!
