My Lessons normally build on topics and content that you are covering at your school or college. I will usually go through some topic questions or help you with work that you are struggling with at school or college.

I usually like some prior notice of the topic that I am helping you with so I can get some up to date material together. The best lessons are interactive and I use a drawing tablet to explain key concepts and ideas during the lesson. I do encourage students to buy one of these tablets as well so that they can complete tasks during the lesson and fully engage with the problems being tackled.

The main focus of the lessons are to increase ability to tackle the exam content of the syllabus and build confidence in your abilities.

In my experience students that work hard and put the hours into their studies usually do well on the exams at the end of the course. We all have strengths and weaknesses and its about identifying them and improving on our weak areas.

Many of the students that I have coached and taught over the years have gained top places at university studying medicine, dentistry and science. I have worked at top independent schools and colleges both as a teacher, Head of Chemistry and Head of Science. I now have retired and concentrate on private tutoring of A-level Chemistry and GCSE Science. Hopefully I can help you on your career journey as well.
