I have thought geography for 13 years in Nigeria from 2001 to 2013. I helped prepare my students for the subject which was formerly term difficult and boring to students. I want to state here that after three years of preparing the first set of students, their pass rate was 69% after which subsequent student success rate rose to between 75 and 85.9%. This even made some of the students go to study geography as a course in the university of which quite a number of them have graduated and either teaching as well and others working.
If given this opportunity, I would definitely put in my best into ensuring excellence is instituted into my students. They can be rest assured to get the best form of education that would make them stand out amongst their equals.
