I have taught at secondary level, A level and University. My tutorials are tailored to student learning styles and preferences. They can also reflect student need and outcomes so that sessions can be "stand alone" to focus on a specific point or as part of a course leading to examination or satisfaction of personal curiosity. Depending on your needs work can be taken from an established syllabus and scheme of work or tailored. Face to face or on line sessions are available. The usual teaching format is to review prior learning before moving on to deal with the core content for the session. Lesson planning is available to help identify timings with learning and teaching points throughout the session. Outcomes can be identified in advance and worksheets and research activities set up for discussion in the full tutorial session. Questioning here reinforces learning and a round-up plenary at the end helps contextualize content and its place in relation to the overall course and what comes next. Guidance on exam revision and exam style can be included.
