I am the Head of Physics at a fantastic school in Somerset, and have been teaching for 4 years now. In that time I have taught A Level Biology (AQA), A Level Physics (AQA, OCR A, and OCR B) and GCSE Maths. I am happy to work with a range of confidences and abilities from the 'I have no clue' to 'I just need a confidence boost'.

I teach online using Google Meets and with my trusty tablet am able to hand write and draw any maths or diagrams for the lesson ahead of us. This means you can see exactly what I'm trying to explain, it gives the student an opportunity to have a go. I'm not above using videos and other resources I have collected in my teaching career where I think the explanation is just right.

As I have said that I teach a wide array of confidences and abilities, that means the sessions are completely dependent on how you are feeling about a particular topic or about the subject in general. I have had students come prepared with questions they have completed and just want help with the ones they're stuck on or just for me to say 'great job'. Other students I have had worksheets prepared for the session and we walk through the questions together with me showing the ropes in how to answer them, we work on them together, and then I leave you to have a go before discussing the answers.
