As you will note, my teaching style is direct and decisive, yet flexible in responding to constantly changing demands. I feel creativity and variety are excellent strategies to help grab and hold learners’ attention for increased participation in classroom activities. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (Life science) and Natural science to a diverse group of students in elementary and high school both in Nigeria and South Africa. I foster an exciting and engaging learning environment by utilizing hands-on activities, fun experiments, and real-life connections. As well, I integrate various forms of technology and class discussions. These strategies are useful for consolidating important concepts, showcasing science in the local environment, and working world, and encouraging active participation.
