Hello everyone,
I started my journey of design 7 years ago and ever since I have always considered design as a two way conversation. Rather than teaching you my ideologies, at initial stage I believe in understanding the students beliefs and building the conceptual mindset of their own. Having a practical experience in the field I will also be talking about the various job opportunities available in design field as well as how to begin your design journey. I will help you build a problem solving approach. The beginning will be teaching about colour theories , basic elements of design, fundamental principles of design, exercise that will help you develop understanding of textures and patterns. I will introduce you to the various mediums like sketching, painting, photography, model making, video making which will help you explore and express your ideas. I will also be sharing presentations where you can learn about skills required for making physical models using different materials. Eventually I will be sharing with you examples of my design works. In addition to that, I will be introducing basics of multiple design softwares like Adobe suite( photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) , Google Sketchup, Auto Cad which will be your tools if you want to further pursue any of the creative fields. Overall my sessions will be a compilation of my personal and professional experiences of creative world across different cultures combining with relevant technical skills. This can be helpful for you even if you have no knowledge in prior of the subject.
